The Center on the Developing Child: Harvard University 

Information about early child development.

One of the Center’s main aims is to inform policymakers and practitioners about the importance of early child development and its neurological basis. Its online resources and briefing notes are detailed and cover the neuroscientific basis of good practice in supporting child development.

The Center has created  videos with the National Scientific Council on the Developing Child that illustrate the ‘three key concepts’ – ‘brain architecture’, ‘serve and return’, and ‘toxic stress’
