The Library of Measures is an open-access collection of questionnaires that can be used to measure mental health mechanisms. Our focus is on measures applicable for use with children and young people.
The library is a live project: users can register with us and suggest new or updated measures:
- Register as a Researcher to submit measure to the Library
- Log in to the Library
- Submit a new Measure to the Library
This is the process for adding new Measures:
- Researcher submits a new Measure as a Draft, which is not listed in the public database
- Once completed, the Researcher clicks Submit for Review in their My Measures page
- The AIM team will get an email to notify them of the new Measure for Review
- The AIM team will either Publish it or reset it to Draft, if further changes are needed
- The Researcher will get an email notification in both situations
- If a Research edits a Published Measure, it is automatically reset to Draft status
By providing information about multiple measures in the same place, the library offers researchers and clinicians an accessible, time-saving resource to help them make the most appropriate decisions when developing and delivering psychological interventions to support children and young people.
For each measure in the library, information can be found on:
- the concept being measured,
- the age group the questionnaire is appropriate for
- how to score and interpret the measure
- a summary of the research conducted to support the quality of the measure
- licensing and access details (if available)
