The report, prepared for the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Finland: Research Programs Public Health, includes a description of theoretical and empirical knowledge of questionnaire research with children and young people, it provides rules for the construction of questionnaires for different age groups (including examples of reformulations of questions tailored to different age groups), it explores the use of different methods used for different age groups and provides a checklist for questionnaires designed for use with children and adolescents. The checklist is designed for use as both a guideline for questionnaire construction and evaluation.
