Birkbeck, UCL Institute of Education, and University College London have jointly established a Centre for Educational Neuroscience the aim of which is to improve communication between researchers and teachers to help improve pedagogical practice through neuroscientific approaches. Topics include how the brain works, development in the adolescent brain, neuro-hits and neuro-myths, which explain or debunk common (mis)conceptions about the brain and the learning brain – aimed at both pupils and teachers
